Privacy & Cookies
This policy covers all games developed and published by anttka4 (Anton Tkachenko) on itch.io, Steam, Google Play, the App Store, and any other marketplace, as well as the website anttka4.dev.
1. Information I collect
A. In my games
Most of my games are completely offline, single-player experiences and collect no personal data whatsoever. For the rare games with online features, I only use these third-party services — and only when you actively use them:
- Unity / engine analytics — anonymised usage & crash data (can be disabled in-game)
- Google Play Games Services — only if you sign in for leaderboards or achievements
- Steamworks SDK — Steam ID and public profile (Steam builds only)
- itch.io Butler API — only for auto-updates via the itch app
If a game lists no online features on its store page, it collects nothing.
B. On anttka4.dev
The website is static. It uses essential cookies plus privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic and improve the experience:
- Google Analytics (Firebase) — aggregate, anonymised page views and basic events
- Microsoft Clarity — aggregate usage insights and basic security logs
No advertising, no third-party ad networks, and your data is never sold or rented.
2. How I use your information
- To fix bugs and improve the games (crash reports)
- To run leaderboards and achievements where offered
- To understand site traffic and protect the website from abuse
- I never sell, rent, or share your data for marketing.
3. Data retention
- Analytics / crash reports — max 12 months, anonymised
- Leaderboard data — held by Google Play / Steam (you can delete it there)
- Web logs — deleted after 30 days
4. Children’s privacy
My games are rated E or Teen. I do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Any such data will be deleted immediately.
5. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data I hold (in practice, usually none). Just email me at ant.tka4.cz@gmail.com.
6. Third-party services
Links to itch.io, Steam, X / Twitter, Discord, and similar are subject to their own privacy policies.
7. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy. The latest version will always live at anttka4.dev/privacy_policy.html.
